Why do lamps and lanterns products want to do 3C certification?

Lighting products with LED drive power supply belong to CQC voluntary certification category before 2014. Now it has been included in the 3C certification list, and "DC or AC electronic control device for LED module" has been added under the item of "Lighting Electrical Appliance category -- Ballast Category", which has obvious significance. In lighting products, no matter the light source is the traditional incandescent bulb, or the fluorescent light source, as well as the current LED light source, CCC certification has been required since 2002, and GB7000 standard has been used as the test basis.

Lamp CCC certification Product scope:

CCC certification is required for fixed general lamps, mobile general lamps, children's portable lamps, embedded lamps, ground embedded lamps, night lamps, aquarium lamps.

Lamp controls requiring CCC certification: inductance ballasts for fluorescent lamps, AC electronic ballasts for fluorescent lamps, HID lamps, AC electronic ballasts for HID lamps, DC or AC electronic controls for LED modules.

Special attention should be paid to the implementation of the LED control device (i.e. the drive) compulsory certification on September 1, 2014, with a transitional period of one year and compulsory implementation on September 1, 2015.

This means that LED drives used to be produced and sold in China only with CQC voluntary certification, or without certification, in accordance with national standards.

At present, CCC certification of lighting products is mainly accepted by China Quality Certification Center (CQC). However, with the continuous deepening of the reform of the testing and certification industry, enterprises can also obtain THE CCC certificate issued by other institutions in the future.

Points to note for 3C certificate of lamps:

1. Validity of 3C certificate of lamps: 5 years. Accept factory inspection every year within 5 years, and pass smoothly, the certificate is valid. Before the expiration, you can apply for an extension, which needs to be retested. If it passes, it can be renewed for another 5 years.

2. Standard plate changing or rule changing: it is generally required to complete the standard plate changing before the next factory inspection, and supplementary testing is generally required.

Lamp 3C certification process

Step 1: Apply for certification

Step 2: Type test (sample test)

Step 3: Initial factory inspection

Step 4: Evaluation and approval of certification results (review and issue)

It should be noted that after obtaining the 3C certificate, there is an annual supervision and inspection (annual inspection) every year. Maintaining the 3C certificate is the result of long-term work.

Lamp CCC certification fee:

2. Registration fee: 800 yuan

3. Test fee: it depends on the specific situation of the product

The fee for the first factory inspection is usually 6250 yuan
